Homepage signals (CMS, structured data, contact paths, analytics) were collected from each site's live homepage; performance figures are Google PageSpeed Insights mobile lab metrics for the 32 sites that completed a run. Businesses were sampled across industries from public listings and licensing registries; national chains were excluded. Collected August 24, 2026. Results describe the 35 sampled businesses, not every business in Alameda, and the benchmark is re-run, so these figures are a dated snapshot rather than a standing claim.

Why this matters now

AI assistants are another source of recommendations.

When someone asks ChatGPT, or Google's own AI results, who to hire in Alameda, the answer draws on what those systems can read: fast pages, structured data, and consistent business information across the web. Structured data makes that information easier for search engines and AI systems to interpret and verify — and 25.7% of the 35 Alameda sites we tested publish none. Fast, structured, and consistent sites give Google and AI systems clearer information to read and verify.

We build for that standard and check the whole presence — your website, your Google Business Profile, and the listings AI assistants verify you against. We publish our research on how AI assistants recommend local businesses, one engineer owns your project from scope through launch, and the written scope, timeline, and price are agreed before work begins.
