Why VisaMind was started
Eric and his wife struggled with an immigration process full of scattered guidance. Government requirements, anecdotes, and online conversations often conflicted. They wanted a simpler place to understand options before paying for expensive help.
Visa guidance and AI interview practice
VisaMind brings together visa discovery, guidance on requirements and documents, timelines, and AI-powered interview practice. It also connects to r/visainterviews, a Reddit community where immigration lawyers participate in discussions and answer questions.
Scope
- Visa matching across 14 countries
- A personalized checklist and timeline for each applicant
- An AI voice interview coach that plays the part of a consular officer
- Accounts and a document vault, with private document storage and controlled downloads on AWS
- Transactional email with signed delivery events, sent through Resend
- Country hubs, visa guides, a forms library, and a glossary, with a page for each country, visa type, form, and processing-time question

How the product uses AI
VisaMind puts structured visa guidance, user signups, and AI-powered interview practice in one product. Routeless uses the same approach in client AI work, placing AI features inside products with registered users.
