The fastest homepage in the Apex sample showed its main content in 2.0 seconds, the slowest took 35.5, and the middle half took between 5.8 and 15.8. The lightest homepage weighs 339 KB; the heaviest sends 27.1 MB to a phone.

Methodology: Routeless audited 33 business websites in Apex, NC (2026Q3 benchmark). Homepage signals (CMS, structured data, contact paths, analytics) were collected from each site's live homepage; performance figures are Google PageSpeed Insights mobile lab metrics for the 32 sites that completed a run. Businesses were sampled across industries from public listings and licensing registries; national chains were excluded. Read Google's PageSpeed Insights methodology and download the anonymized Apex benchmark summary. We dropped 7 Apex sites we couldn't reach, and 32 of the 33 finished a full PageSpeed run. Sampled businesses include All About Therapy, Apex Dental Group, Apex Family Dentistry, Apex General Dentistry, Savage & Godfrey, Atlantic Family Dental, Apex, Beaver Creek Commons Dental. Collected August 25, 2026. Results describe the 33 sampled businesses, not every business in Apex. We re-run the benchmark, so treat these numbers as a snapshot from that date.

• 48.5% run on WordPress and 18.2% on DIY builders. The rest are custom, or we couldn't identify the platform.
• 51.5% of Apex homepages have no contact form, and 15.2% have no tap-to-call phone link on mobile.
• 30.3% of the Apex sites run no analytics we could detect, so those owners can't easily see how many visits or inquiries the site brings in.
